Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

  • 2 cups bell peppers, sliced

  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • 2 cups jasmine rice (cooked)

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • Fresh cilantro (optional), for garnish

  • Sesame seeds (optional), for garnish

Instructions

Slice beef sirloin against the grain for tenderness. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; add beef and cook until browned (4-5 minutes). Add minced garlic, onion, and bell peppers; sauté until onions are translucent (3-4 minutes). Pour in soy sauce and stir to coat; simmer briefly to meld flavors. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds, if desired.
