Lactation Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (or coconut oil)

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • ½ cup white sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 2 cups flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 3 cups rolled oats

  • 3 tablespoons brewer’s yeast

  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup raisins

  • Milk (1 tablespoon at a time if it seems dry)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream butter + sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients, then oats, flax, and brewer’s yeast. Stir in chocolate chips. Scoop onto baking sheet and bake 10–12 minutes (15 minutes if frozen).
