Saltine Toffee

Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers

  • 1 cup butter

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

  • 3/4 cups chopped pecans

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line 9 x 13 pan with greased tin foil. Line pan with saltine crackers. In a saucepan, combine butter and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. Pour immediately over saltines. Bake for 5-6 minutes, remove and sprinkle chocolate chips. Return to over for 1 minute. Spread melted chips and top with nuts. Let cool completely and break into pieces.
